  • US- India- US on BA via London Heathrow

I am currently on a valid H-1B and will be travelling from the US to Delhi via London Heathrow. I have a 5-6 hours layover at Heathrow on both legs of my trip.

My route is US - London - Delhi and Return Delhi- London- US by British Airways. Do I require a transit visa.

Also, if I were to do the same with Luftansa US- Frankfurt -Delhi and back, would I require a transit visa ?

    Thanks

Hi SS2 Did you get your question answered. I have a similar query.

Please let me know if I need a transit visa for the following.
I have a valid US Visitor Visa.
I am planning to book the following route Dubai (DXB) - LAX layover in LHR (London, Heathrow)
Do I need a transit or DATV visa or am I exempt?

I will be returning to Dubai within 6 months and the return flight also has a layover in Heathrow. Will I not have any problems?

      Please let me know.

      THank you

If you have a valid US visa that is unexpired and you are remaining inside the transit area of the airport, no DATV is needed. Refer to the London Consulate's website for more details.
