Transit Visa: Layover 11hours40 mins in london heathrow

Hi,

I have a valid H4 stamped till 2013 and my layover in london heathrow is 11hours 40 mins. Do I need a transit visa?

Inquiry about transit visa at London

I am an Indian citizenship and right now working in USA on H1b visa and my work permit is valid till Nov 2012. However the visa stamp on my passport is expired on 4th Dec 2011.

I will join my new job in Netherlands from January 2012. For this I bought a flight ticket which goes through Heathrow , London. I have to change my flight at Heathrow airport to Amsterdam. My flight wait is only 2.30 hrs. I would like to know do I need a transit visa to change my flight at Heathrow airport. I have my temporary residence permit of Netherlands.

Please let me know at your earliest possible, since I have already bought my flight ticket.
