valid driver license but expired Jap VWP

My wife and I r going to Hawaii for our wedding. But her VWP had already expired for 3 month. But she has a valid driver license which will expires in two years. Do u think it would still cause any trouble at airport to Hawaii ?

She is not your wife until the wedding takes place, unless youve already done the ivil ceremony. She is out of status, but she is marrying you. Her status doesn't affect her eligibility to go to Hawaii or get married. Not sure she can travel if she has a Japanese license, but if its American, no problem.
