Hi. I entered the US under the VW Program. On my passport the admittance stamp has two dates: arrival and I guess latest date of departure. I noticed that a count of the days I stayed in the US, within the interval as showing on the stamp, exceeds the 90 days period allowed by the VWP of 5 days. Would I be able to stay till the day shown on my passport without encountering future denial of my visa waiver authorization as per the ESTA or should I only rely on a count of exactly 90 days? Even the driver license that I took here as the same date shown on my passport as expiration date and the DMV had to check, I guess, my immigration status before issuing the license. What is that date all about?
In case of visa waiver overstay of 5 days would I be able to obtain a tourist visa without any problems?
Thank you very much!
