  • I entered thru VWP and I got my Green card today!

    06/01/2014 - Submitted our I-130, I-485, G-325A and other documents needed.
    06/20/2014 - USCIS received our application forms
    07/14/2014 - Received a notice regarding lacking documents
    07/15/2014 - Biometrics appointment
    09/27/2014 - Received a notice regarding lacking of I-693
    12/16/2014 - Initial interview
    01/29/2015 - USCIS officers showed up at our apartment
    03/03/2015 - USCIS notified us that our application has been approved and a card has been ordered for us
    03/11/2015 - Received my green card

    Hi Kristine,
    Im a NZ citizen and Im married to a US citizen. Did you really go on a vwp to the states and then change your status to stay longer? Can you explain your experience? did you get a black mark for going from a vwp to changing your visa status? I thought you couldnt and would be black listed.
    Please help, thanks
