B2 Non Immigrant Visa renewel after receiving 221(g)

Hi,,My visa extension application case was put under 221(g). and I attended the interview today and the officer confirmed approval of my visa. However no acknowledgement was provided. My question is where should I collect my passport ie will it be mailed to me? or from Team Stanley office or Embassy? In the absence of any acknowledgement what document should I present?
Can u pl advise me
