Hi there,
I am a NZ citizen and next month I want to go to the US to spend some more time with my boyfriend before we decide if we wish to get married. We have already spent two months (April to June) in Hawaii together. I want to know if it is acceptable to enter the US under the visa waiver programme then get married or at least engaged. I am under 35 so am eligible for a 2 year Canadian work visa. So I thought I could go to US for a couple of months then work in Canada while waiting for our fiancé or spouse's visa to be approved. Any advice would be appreciated.
