Hi, I have a green card but had been residing outside the US for more than 5 years already and I don't intend to renew it anymore. Does residing outside the US for more than 2 years automatically renounce my US residency? If so, is it okay to return to the US as a visitor using my passport (my country is included in the visa waiver program)? Will my expired residency not pose a problem at all? Thanks!
