Hi all,
I plan on returning to the USA after a gap year, with a new I-20/F-1 visa to finish my senior year in university.
I know you can you only enter the country 30 days prior to your I-20 start date, but I need to enter earlier than that to manage my real estate property.
I have been approved in the ESTA system for the VWP. Do I need an onward/return ticket booked before entering the USA?
Can I leave the USA close to the 30 days prior to my I-20 start date, then re-enter the USA on my F-1 visa? Can I do this via exiting to Canada then returning to the USA?
