ESTA with a Pending I-130

Hello everyone!

First time poster here. I'm an American recently married to a Dane. There's an event in the US this summer that my wife just can't miss. We have a pending I-130 (submitted in November 2017), and I'm wondering if she can file for an ESTA for the visit this summer rather than get a B-2. She's visited the States many times before with an ESTA, but I'm not sure whether she can still do that with a pending I-130.

Pending ESTA

You can visit the United States under ESTA with a pending I-130 situation. But you should be prepared to address questions from the immigration inspector as to the pending I-130 and be able to provide proof of your ties abroad as evidence that you will only be in the United States temporarily.
