Extending VWP

My 4 month old son and I entered the USA on the visa waiver program.
We are entitled to stay in the USA till 10 Dec 2009. How can I extend
this for an extra 4 days?

Do I have to leave the USA and re-enter? Can I go out to Mexico or canada then return on another visa waiver. We are travelling on Australian Passports.

Hi again. Is there a list of countries we are not allowed to travel to? I'm trying to book a break away, but need a list of places we can't go.

Sorry, to be more specific, my infant son and I are on the visa waiver program and need to exit the US and re-enter, so that we don't over stay the 90day period. Can we please have a list of countries (eg. Mexico, Canada), that are NOT elligible to exit and re-enter the US, to get another visa waiver?

Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
