Visa Waiver Program Conflict
Hello,
I was arrested in NY in March of 2009 while on OPT, for a misdemeanour, and I was fingerprinted. There were no charges pressed, the case was dismissed and expunged, but now I want to travel back to the States. My opt expired and I would like to go back to NY, organize my apartment, send my old things back to Spain and so on. As my F-1 visa and OPT visa are expired, I would like to know if I am still eligible for VWT (waiver program) for my return to the States or if I need to ask for a visa. If so, do I need to bring court papers? I am not in the states now, and I fear I wont be able to get the court docs if needed on time.
