Thank you for providing this resource! I am looking for some answers regarding my situation. I am a UK citizen and am currently in the US visiting my fiance (who I proposed to whilst I've been here). I am here under the Visa Waiver Program until 10 March 2010. I know that I have to return to the UK as planned as I am here under the VWP. I plan to return to the US with a fiance visa and get married here. The problem is that we are waiting for her divorce to be finalised until she can petition for the fiance visa, which will take another 2 months. Then, I've been told, the fiance visa process can take 3 to 6 months at best. Our issue is that my fiance has 5 children and she has come to rely on my being here to continue her study (she takes night classes Mon-Thur leaving home at 6pm and returning at 11pm). Her mother is unwell and has said that she cannot help with the kids and their father works during the week so cannot have the kids at his house. My fiance is unable to afford a sitter in her current financial situation. I am wondering what our options are to get me back to the US as fast as possible (after I leave in March) so she is able to continue her studies? Is there any special consideration in these types of situations?
