Moving a family to USA

Hi, I am currently looking at moving my family to the united states.

I have no idea where to start, or which application i need to apply for. I do have a parent who lives in Pennsylvania and has done for the last 20 years, i don't know if that helps or not.

Could anyone please help me and point me in the right direction of where to start.
