Received a letter from the consulate for denial of waiver for 212(a)(6)(c)(I).

It does not provide the reason for denial. What should I do?

I wrote the consulate to provide me the reasoning behind the refusal but they said that they are generally not able to provide the reasons I then asked them the procedure for applying for an access to my records They asked me to write the Office of Information Programs and Services However they also have written on the bottom that generally the records are confidential under the Immigration and Nationality Act 222(f) and not releasable

Will an attorney be able to provide assistance with this or should I just give up and apply again
