hi, I'm a swedish citizen who last year got married to an american when being here on an ESTA visa. After our marrige we went to Sweden and are now back here since december. My allowed days here is now ending in march, and I therefore have a ticket back to Sweden next week. We have applied for a I-130 and a I-129f. They are on "initial rewiew". Now people are telling me not to leave USA, that it will take years before I can come back to my husband!! Can I apply for "Adjustment of status" even if my ESTA/I-94 days runs out. Can I stay here? I'm do not want to do anything illegal! Thankfull for answers...
