In DS-156 we wrote the purpose as "help with pregnancy" but later read some posting where people wrote that such purpose might cause to visa rejection. So I wrote a letter to consulate stating that she is coming purely for tourism and no where I specified word "pregnancy". On the other hand consulate is not willing to make any changes to the DS-156 form once submitted.
-- Would such difference in purpose (DS-156-->pregnancy/letters-->tourism) make the situation worse?
-- Is it better for me to add "pregnancy" word in the letter written to Consulate and mother (pregnancy + tourism)?
-- Or is it better to leave it as it is and ask mom to give both reasons (pregnancy + tourism) when asked during interview?
Please advise....
