Visitor visa extension for my mother

Hi,

My mother's visitor visa (B-2) is expiring on 13th Oct and i have applied for her extension just last week.
The USCIS has deducted the check amount $290 from my account but i still didn't receive the receipt notice from them.

We have a plan to travel to Texas in mid of Nov and i expect the receipt notice to be in by that time but not sure about the final decision from USCIS.
Can she travel domestic with the expired I-94 and just the receipt notice?

Please help!!

For domestic travel, you just need valid photo Id which is passport.
