How to long wait for second attempt?

Hi..
My parents visa got rejected on june 27.

My father is retired and has a low pension income. So i assumed that might be the reason for rejection.
This time i am sending my mom alone.
I took an appt. for her in august.

Is it ok to wait for a month or do i need to wait for 6 months for second time?

Does any one has an experience in going for second time in a short gap and successfully getting visa?

Hi Chavi..

My parents attended at chennai consulate.
I tried to modify the appointments at 5,6,7PM IST . I tried this way for 10 days and could prepone my mother appt. from nov to august.
Also i used to try at every one hr like 4.30pm,5.30pm,6.30Pm (EST).
But try at 5,6,7pm IST, those worked out for me.

Have you been able to decide to proceed with your mothers current interview? Or are you planning to send her to the consulate later ?.When does she have the interview? I found an appointment for my mom in early Aug....thanks for your input. please post your mothers experience after the appointment.
