Hi - I got my visa stamped last week for H1B along with my dependents. I am planning to apply B2 for my mother.

Can I apply B2 for my mother from here before I travel to US?

If she has enough ties to India (other children, job, immovable property, etc) and has sufficient funds, it is advisable for her to apply as a tourist rather than you inviting her. Search the forum. Plenty of posts are there in this regard.
