Lost visa extension approval letters

Hi,
My parents had obtained a 10 year multiple entry visa in 2003. Since then they have visited me 4 times and have also extended their stay everytime. Now when they tried to renew their Visa it got rejected under section 214(b). The officer said they did not have enough social obligations in India and have overstayed in US everytime. They need to bring extension approval notice to demonstrate that they stayed legally. We only have approval letters for two of those visits. We have lost the most recent visit extension papers. Could you please advice me what I need to do to obtain duplicate approval notices from almost 3 years ago?

Visa misuse and that too repeatedly is wrong to do and is bound to have its consequences.

Personally I doubt that even if you submit the proofs they would be given visa again.

Thanks for your input. However, I have to point out that it is not "visa Misuse"!!!!! We filed for extension and it was approved every single time. We just did not keep all the approval notices. So I am simply asking for a procedure to obtain duplicates of those letters.

There are no clear guidelines defining a "misuse".
