  • Visitors Visa appointment for Parents.

I like to pay visitors (B2) visa fee for my parents (Father & Mother) by going to AXIS/CITIBANK in Hyderabad before scheduling visa appointment date for my parents.

what is the standard procedure when one wants to pay the visa fee by going to above branch ( i know that we need to take the print out copy of advice slip while going to the bank)

My father took 2 copies from the below website ( for himself and other one for my mother) and went to the AXIS bank, but the person at the bank told that both the advice slip has the same CGI no along with TIER 1, rather it should have different TIER no on the advice slip.

can we pay the fee before submitting the DS160 Form online, so far i just saved it online for my parents but yet to submit online as i am waiting for some info from my parents.

can anyone please let me know which advice slip that my parents need to carry for paying the fee at the AXIS bank branch in Hyderabad.

So there i selected over the counter on the AXIS/CITIBANK logo, there it opens a seperate window with the below link. so i took 2 copies ( for father & mother) of those advice slip and asked my father to go the bank, but at the bank they said that CGI reference no is the same for 2 copies and VISA TIER is mention is 1, the bank person told for visitors visa the TIER should be other than 1.
but if open the below link it just says the following.

      CGI REFERENCE NUMBER : 730138005550
      VISA TIER (1-4): 1
      US DOLLAR AMOUNT: $160

Has issue resolved? what was the solution? did you create separate profiles and separate CGI ref numbers?

          Thanks

I hope your issue is already resolved. If not, and for the best interest of others. If you create your father's profile and add your mother as dependent in ustraveldocs.com, then you would be generating only one CGI Reference number, and the total sum would be $320. On checking with ustraveldocs helpdesk, they confirmed that the bank would give only one receipt per one CGI Reference Number and you can very well use the same receipt number in both the columns for father and mother, and carry that "one" receipt to interview.

I have the same issue here. I have filled DS 160 for my mom and sister and did't submit still. In ustraveldocs.com I have filled info for my mom and added dependent for my sister. When my sister went to bank by carrying one CGI number, they said, its $ 340 per person. What does it mean? Would that fine to carry one receipt for my mom and sister?
and how will it accept same receipt number while taking an appointment? Please assist me with this.

              Thanks,
              Renu

Yes...it works. One receipt number for both mom and dad works. The receipt number automatically appears on the screen before scheduling interview. We paid the fees on Tues and by Tues night it was activated.

                  two separate receipts for parents

                  Hi

I have created two separate logins for my father and mother and paid the visa fee.
Now how to schedule the interview together.

Anyone ran into this situation? any advice pls?

                  Thanks
                  Sindhu
