Birth Certificate

My Father had applied for tourist visa. They have asked him to provide proof that I am his daughter. I had sent copies of my Passport showing his name as father's name. They have asked to bring the birth certificate or the school certificate. I do not have a birth certificate, instead I have a certificate saying that the records are not found since that is what they give for the people who do not have a birth certificate. On my school leaving certificate there is no mention of father's name. My tenth certificate shows my name followed by my father's name, but does not say 'daughter of'. Will this be fine or what should I do since I see no way out. In what other way can I prove our relationship.

Does the tenth class certificate say "father's name" before his name?
It is fine, if it does.

If not, you may have to get an affidavit that they accept for unobtainable birth certificates for immigrant visas.

In that case, you should get the affidavit and present it with the non-availability certificate.
