I have few questions, my mom has visa interview next week. She is comming to visit me and drop my 2 year old (US citizan) daughter who is in india. if they ask purpose of visit, she should tell droping my daughter and tourism
or just tourism?

if she gets visa, what kind of questions she will have to answer at port of entry as my daughter is going to be with her??

There is a q on DS_156 which asks about accompanying travellers
and their relationships to the applicant.She will have to mention your daughter
there. As to the purpose of visit she can say that she is going to visit
her children in US and also she is taking your daughter back.

If asked, she can say the same at the port of entry. But don't you
think there are separate channels for visitors and citizens at the port
of entry?

Normally, they will let the family pick a queue in this case (either Citizen or visitor queue).

my 2 year old daughter is US citizan and she dosen't have to go for interview, in this case my mother still have to write my daughter's name name as accompanying her in DS 156??
