How long can my mom allowed to stay on B2?

My Mom has visited us and shall be staying for complete 6 months and leaving in Jan '13. Me and my wife want her back to visit us after 6 months in July . At that time my father will also be travelling along with her since he would have retired from active job

My concern is that since my mom already stayed for 6 months between Aug 12 - Jan 13, would there be any issue in getting longer stay I94 when they travel next July?
