Visitors Visa - with I94

Hi Friends,

I am here with L1B Blanket Visa. My Visa is going to expire on Feb - 2013. But, I have I-94 validity till 2015. Now i have couple of questions here

1. Is it possible to apply for Visitors Visa for my parents now. Because I have only visa validity for another 4 months only. If i apply for for visa, what is the chances of getting the visa for my parents?

2. Am i able to apply visitors visa, when i am continuing here with I-94 validity? If my parents gets the visa now, do immigration allows them if i am staying here with I-94, like if i would like to bring them here in after March-2013?

3. Right now, my spouse is here with dependent visa and also has I-94 validity till 2015. If my spouse goes to india and comes back in Febraury, will she get new I-94 with new validity? or will she get the validity till 2015 since she is dependent and my I-94 validity is valid upto 2015?

Could anyone please help me understanding the above questions also could you suggest me if there is any forum/website is available to go through about it.

Are you completing 5 Years on L1B or 3 Years in Feb 2013?

1. Yes you can apply for your parents visitor visa on the basis of your I-94.
2. You are not applying for visitor visa, its your parent who are applying for it. If they get visa they can travel as long as their visa is valid, as for their I-94 it all depends on the Visa Officer at the POE.
3.She can travel into US as long as her Visa is valid. As for her I-94, it all depends on the Visa Officer at the POE if they want to give till 2015 or any date. There are no striaghtforward rules and it all depends on the Visa officer. She can request for an I-94 to match your but again it depends on the Visa Officer. In case she doesnt get I-94 matching yours you can request for I-94 extension once she is inside US on the basis of your I-94, again approval of her her I-94 Extension will depend upon USCIS in such Case?

Also, in case you or your dependents travel outside US after Feb 2013 , when L1/L2 expires, you would have to get a new visa stamped in passport in order to return.

I have one more question. Will my parents able to apply for visa after Feb2013, while i am continuing here with I-94, or Should they apply only when my visa is valid?
