Your Advice Needed: My parent's names mismatch in mine and my parent's Passports

Hi All,

In a month or two, I am planning to apply for US visitor visa. My parent's names are spelled different in mine and my parent's passport. Below are their names and the mismatches are highlighted in bold.

Please let me know if there is any issue in getting visas for my parents. Need your advice.


YASHODAMMA (as per my mother's passport)
YASODA (as per my passport)

VENKATARAMANA SETTY (as per my father's passport)
VENKATRAMAYYA CHETTY (as per my passport)

I think just getting an affidavit stating the x and X is the same person should suffice.
