Hi
I am in USA on F1 (student ) visa & I am planning to apply visiting visa for my parents and my
sister. My dad is working in a PSU(Public Sector Unit) since last 27 years .He also worked in a private company
for about 3 years before joining PSU.
Please provide some clarification for filling DS-160 form.
1:- In work / Education/ Training section What should be the answer to the Question “Were
you previously employed ?”
If “yes” will it be necessary to give the exact details of previous job with dates of entry
& leaving the company?
2:-Regarding the education , is it compulsory to provide the exact dates of attendance in
the schools & Institutes? Without entering the dates it doesn’t proceed to next section.
3:- My dad will be self sponsoring the trip for the family . How much amount in the bank
savings / FDs should be enough?
