I am filing my parents B2 visa (Tourist Visa) from Mumbai consulate. I heard they have changed the process from Sep. 2012 and have few questions.

1. Is there any process change to take finger prints before the actual visa interview ? If yes, Do we need to take separate appointment for this.

2. Earlier the process of submitting the documents at VFS . Is that process still applicable ?? If yes, What documents we need to submit and when ?

Just to double-check on what sona510 has asked in question 2, Don't we need to submit the docs in VFS location in advance before the Interview ? Do we need to bring all the documents along with us in Visa Interview for B2 visa ?

Go through the application process.

That including getting your photograph taken, fililng application forms, paying visa fees, scheduling an appointment, submitting some documents in advance (applicable only at the U.S. consulate in Mumbai) and attending the interview.

You don't need to submit any documents in advance. We missed updating that page. We will fix it today itself. You take all the documents to the interview.
