plz help

hi
i have applied for the visitors visa two and half months back.i was asked to wait till some administrative process is over and the counselarsaid i wont be needing the appointment and handed me a letter with 221g.i was also asked to submit my fingerprints,which i did on the same day.the person that had taken my fingerprints (an indian) didnt returned me that letter. i asked him abt that he said dont worry we will take care.
do i need that letter?
should i contact the embassy as it is getting too long?
plz advice me

Hello,
I am also on the same boat as you.
It's been 1 month since my father(administrative processing) applied so far i have not heard anything from the consulate
I guess we have no option but to wait but if some one is able shed some light on this issuse it will help us a lot
