visa processing

My parents appeared for the interview today,mum was issued the visa,but for dad,they said some verification or processing is required.,they have sent me an e-mail and asking all the questions regarding daddy( actually all seem similar to ds-160) it is asking itineray,whereas in ds 160 i had written that we havent decidec the travel plan and randomly put planning to travel from 20 dec-20 feb...now what should i answer in that email..? should i prepare an itinery or should i write not yet decided...?

Thank you Immihelp...because of you,My parents got the visa (passports still not received,dad's case in processing) will write the detailed interview after they recieve the passport.

And that processing form is asking my dad's research work/planned research/ U.S academic advisor/ plans after return...??? what should i answer?
