Hello,
Im in the process of scheduling a visa interview and I'm not clear on the below, would greatly appreciate any comments / feedback.
1. In form DS 160, do I need to add each other ( mom and dad ) as travel companions in their respective ds 160s? It is possible that I may take my mom with me (if visa granted) and my dad may come later. In that case would it be an issue to list tem as travel companions ? I'm concerned that their visa ar linked together as dependents and have to travel together.
2. I'm currently in India and handed over my I 94 while departing us. Now can I still use the same I 94 number while filling form I 134 (affidavit) ? It asks for I 94 number.
3. how do I schedule them together for a visa appointment ? Add thm as dependents in the us travel docs website ?
4. Both my parents are retired, is there anything specific they should carry to ensure they have sufficient documentation to prove strong ties? BTW, I'm on work visa. Pension book, It returns, house valuations. Anything else you would recommend ?
5. Finally, on DS 160 it asks if there are any relatives in the US. There's no option for "child" should I still list myself as a relative ? This is the closest option.
Many thanks.
