    Visitor visa quick question

    My wife flew from Hong Kong to Canada with a layover in Minneapolis. In Minneapolis she was told not to visit the US, but they still gave her a 30 day pass on her visitor visa (I don't understand why.) When I picked her up in Canada I took her to the border to ask if she can visit. They approved but they said she has to return today before her flight back to Hong Kong on Monday, which she flys out back from in Canada. But her I-94 says she can stay until Dec 21, so I'm wondering if she can stay until that date or I need to take her back today.

      What if I go to the border and ask if she can stay until the date on the I-94. That can't hurt right?
