Hi
I just welcomed my wife, and unfortunately she already seek. Because she is a new immigrant, she can't apply for insurance. I found some websites that offers health insurance for new immigrants; however, they don't cover preexisting illness.
I am completely lost, and moreover I lost my job and my insurance with.
Does anyone know any ways to solve this problem. I don't want to go to the emergency room because they will charge her a lot of money.

You need to think about buying insurance before she could possibly get sick. If she is already sick, it is too late. No insurance plan will cover that.

You have no option than to pay it out of your pocket.
