Any help would be appreciated.
I am a permanent resident working in the US. I came over with my two children,(20yr old, and 18 year old) about four years ago, and they also are permanent residents with green cards.
However, about two years ago, my 20 year old daughter returned to Australia to study. She stayed away 2 years, and came back on a Visa Waiver a few months ago. At the airport she was told she had been out of the country too long and would have to give up her green card. ( we didnt know about this ) She did and stayed for 3 months.
She is distraught that she is unable to stay no longer than 3 months on a waiver.
What are my best options to have her with us?
Re-apply for permanent residency?
Visitors visa?
Will giving up her green card, make it more difficult to get another one?
I would appreciate anyones help
Thank you
