middle name missing in passport & visa

My brother is 17 year old and his name was Aryan Singh.In his high school we changed it to Aryan Kumar Singh .His 1st passport also had the name as Aryan Singh.We got a USA visa recently which is valid for 10 years His name in the visa is still Aryan Singh.Now we need to renew his passport before travelling to USA as its valid only till he is 18.
But after the passport renewal his name in new passport will be Aryan Kumar Singh. Can he still travel using the valid visa on his old passport?

No we just changed in his Class 10th enrollmentSo its in his 10th standard Certificate.Should we get one generated now? and can we travel with it using the same visa?
