Lost I-94

My Husband is German and has over stayed his visa. We are going to Germany and have heard there will be no problem leaving, only coming back. He has lost his I-94. Also we don't really have time to replace it before we leave. What problems will we face.

Another question: Is national travel a problem. We are flying Florida 2 New York 2 London. Is the Florida 2 New York a problem for him?

No one will stop him from leaving if he does not have an I-94.
It will seriously affect his future entries as there won't be a departure record.

Post 9/11, I think they check a photo ID for national travel.
like a driver's license or a passport. Should not be a problem
since you are leaving the country anyway.
