visitor Visa Issued but not received after 20 days, please help

My father applied for B2 visitor visa and interviewed at Chennai consulate and was initially given 221g and then after giving the CV online by email the visa was issued and was updated online as visa issued on Dec 6 th, but the VFS office is not able to locate the Passport in Bangalore. We had chosen to pickup the passport at VFS office Bangalore, we have emailed to [email protected] and they have given us a case number, but no further information since 2 weeks, should be simply wait or is there any thing else that we can do, if any body else had same experience then please share the experience, thanks.

he will be contacted by phone , dont contact them , i cant say how long it will take , in my case i waited 3 months and i was upset , when queuing for iussance of my visa , i found out that some actually waited longer , just dont bother them , they will call
