Visitor Visa for Parents- Advice reqd

Hi,

Im on L1B Visa in US for last 2 yrs and my visa expires Dec 2013. My wife is on L1B Visa as well and her visa expires Feb 2014.
I want my parents to visit me in the US for 1 month. Last yr(Mar 2012) they had applied and the visa got rejected with reasons they will migrate to the US.
Im the only son and i had sent sponsorship docs. Also my dad is working with a bank in India.
Please can someone advice as to what i need to do differently this time as i would like them to visit me?
Last time we had asked for 2 months visa and had vacation approved letters from the bank and also my grandmom stays with my parents in India.

With only child in US, it becomes difficult for parents to secure a b1/b2.
the officers tend to think parents will live where their only kid lives.

You could try inviting only your mother.
If your dad is still working , let him pay for her trip.
You just send the inivite.
They will ask her why her husband is not going ; you can think of something .
