Sponsoring for brother and in-laws

I have following questions for sponsoring visa:


1) My brother is well to do in India but since he will be staying with me, I thought it is reasonable to send him invitation letter etc. But, I have only one copy of original birth certificate. Do you know of any alternatives?


2) My wife would like to invite her parents as well. Her birth certificate is also one copy and not in English language? Any alternative for birth certificate in language other than English?

Host BC is not required for a B1/B2 visa.
Host invitation letter will suffice.

Very rarely an officer may want to be sure of the applicant actually being your bro.
So you can just send a copy of your bc. And your wife can send a copy with a translation.
DO NOT SEND ORIGINAL BCS; not required.
