From a previous post I explained that my daughter (with a green card) stayed out of the US for two years, and had to give up her perm. resident card upon entering the US. Now she is using the visa waiver every few months to come and visit. She has no other family other than us in the US, and desperately wants to stay with us here. (She is 22 and unmarried)
I have already re-applied for another permanent residency card, but I need help, as this may take up to 5 years or more.
Which visa (temporary/ visitors) can she come over to the US without having to go back to Australia every 3 months?
If she applies for a temp. or visitors visa (which can be extended) will that hurt her Permanent residency application to go through?
If she applies for a student visa. will that affect my application for her to come over on an immigrant visa.
Thanks for any help you can give. It is driving us crazy not having her with us in the US.
