need help

Dear immihelp,

My husband has applied for visitor visa at chennai consulate for my parents and my in laws together , we have taken one appointment for all 4 of them, they have appointment on 22nd sept, will there be any problem in getting visa even though all documents are right. Secondly while taking appointment we have taken english language as my parents can manage english but my in laws dnt know to speak english, but we did not get kananda translator while taking appointment online, can they ask for a transalator at the consulate, and at what point shld they ask for translator.Thirdly they need to travel immediately if they get visa, but if the consulate asks them when u want to travle what shld they say,if they say oct and if they reject saying its winter time , why u want to travle at this time, is there a possibility of rejection just because of travel during winter.

I do not think consular officer is going to reject any visa's because it is winter time. The main focus is going to be their ties to their home country, and good paperwork (which should prove that their visit to the USA will be temporary in nature). If the consular aks them, they should tell him/her when they plan to travel. Good luck.

Hi,
Be sure to tell at the pre-screening counter(where they give their application forms and docs) they they would like to opt for a Kannada Translator. Their reason to travel immediately to the US beter be good and convincing.

you can say ur parents want to be with u at thanksgiving & christmas,new year time(in vacations u can spend more time with them)
