Did any one applied b2 visa for parents after september 2012 ?

What are the steps for paying fee ? New site is weird for some reason. I created the profile for my dad but after that I can't do anything.
Do I have to create separate login id and profile for my mom ?

My brother from India told me that I have to first create profile fore my parents and fill ds 160 and then only we can pay fee. Is it correct ?


Other thing how important is to have birth date of my grandparent in ds 160 ? My mom don't have any proof for my grand dads date of birth.
