  • F1 student on OPT sponsoring Visa for parents for Graduation Walk

    Hi Friends,

I am currently on F1 Visa, I graduated from my school in December 2012, my school is offering me graduation walk in may 2013. Now i am on OPT. I want to invite my parents for graduation ceremony and they are funding themselves and i am also showing a little amount from my side( As a precaution). My father is working in a private sector and mother is a home maker. I have two siblings one is in Germany and other is in India. They can easily show My sister, Job and property as ties with India. Now my question is

    1. In my mother passport Germany visa stamping is there. Is it going to be a problem for applying US visa though the Germany visa expired?
    2. Is it a good idea to send my parents together for visa interview? (due to Germany visa stamp in my mother passport)
    3. Is there any chance of rejecting visa as two children are out side India?

Please help me with your valuable suggestions..
    Thank you so much..

    2. Is it a good idea to send my parents together for visa interview? (due to Germany visa stamp in my mother passport) -- Yes, if they are traveling together.
    3. Is there any chance of rejecting visa as two children are out side India? -- Yes, that is possible.
