Marriage Certificate for Parents Visitor Visa-

Hi,

I am currently in the US on H1. My parents wants to visit me and they are self-sponsoring their visa. They have the required income tax and bank documents, But they dont have the marriage certificate.
Is marriage certificate a mandatory document for visitor visa?
My mother's passport has my father listed as the husband, will that be enough?

Any prior experience in this case will really help.

No,it is not a requirement.

For a visitor visa, the fact that they are husband and wife is taken at face value.
Passport endorsement of spouse's name is enough.

They will focus more on family ,occupation and income ties
to India.
