Procedure for applying Visitor VISA

Hi,

I am planning to apply for VISITOR VISA for my parents. I have blocked the dates through the website. They have their interview in Chennai consulate.

Can any one help me with the following questions.

1.Is it enough if my parents carry the documents and the application form during their interview date or do they need to apply any forms before that.

2.Can any one tell me the procedures involved in this.
