Applying for B2 visa after 10 yr visa expired

Hi,
My parents 10 yr visitor visa expired on Jan 2nd 2012. They have visited US 7-8 times in this 10 yrs and never overstayed(more than 6 months). I have fixed their appt on April 8th 2013 and would like to know if anyone has gone thru this experience of applying of B2 visa after 10 yr visa expiry.
Family Background
3 children: 1 daugther in US (Greencard), another daughter in India, 1 son(myself in US with Greencard)
Father retired from Govt service in 2000, gets pension every month. Gets monthly rent from his home.
Mom is a home maker.

Do they need to take care of any special questions during the interview?

They will ask about his work and children ( family and work ties to India).

*Retired status
* and two children in US with green card

are negatives.

It is 50-50 .
If they get a good officer who will consider their past clean
history on previous visitor visa and may grant them the visa.

If they have good savings, let them show self funding of their trip.
