I am a F1 VISA student staying in US. My parents want to visit me. They got their passport issued in summer 2011. Now when we planned to apply for VISA it came to our notice that in my Mom's Passport there is a typo in her mother's name(which is my Grand mother's name) .The typo is in the surname and is as follows.....instead of "abcde" its typed as "abctde" ......an extra letter was included. Although my Mother's father's name and surname both (which is my Grand father's name) was perfectly typed.I would really appreciate if anyone can give me suggestion on what to do with it?...Waiting eagerly for response.
