b2 visa for family based green card sponsorer...

My brother was sponsored for family based green card in august, 2009. Now he would like to visit USA on tourist (b2) visa. can we sponsor him for B2 visa now and can he come to US on B2 visa and stay here for two months? Please advice.

He can certainly apply for B2 visa, but he would most likely be rejected as he has already shown the intent to immigrant when you filed the family based green card petition.
