  • Parents' visa rejected 4 times, Need Direction

I'm a Permanent Resident (Green Card) since March 2011.
My parents have 4 rejections so far.

1st time was way back in 1996, they went with my eldest brother (25 years)
2nd time during my MBA graduation in November 2009
3rd time again before my graduation in November 2009
4th time Feb 2013, this time I sponsored them using I-134.

For the first 3 times, they never asked for any documents.

4th time Interview went like this:
VO: Why do you want to go to US
Dad: Tourism and to visit my son
VO: When do you want to go and for how long
    Dad: April, for 1 month
VO: What does your son do?
Dad: Gave Employment Verification letter to VO and answered that I work in an xyz company as Regional Sales Manager.

VO looked at the I-134, employment verification letter, paystubs and then said "I cannot grant you visas this time, you can try next time if you want to"

I have 2 elder brothers in India, both married with 2 kids each and are doing their own business. My mom is a housewife, my dad has his own wholesale food distribution business. Income 6Lacs per annum, 4L other investments.

I'm not sure what am I doing wrong guys, could someone please help. Thank you.

Seems like the denial was based on your income (paystubs) and the info on I-134.

    1. What is your salary as shown by the paystubs?
    2. What other financial info did you write on the I-134?
    3. You did not send I-134 on previous 3 occassions. correct?
    4. can you post previous interviews whatever they can recall?

      1. $60K
      2. Savings 20k
      3. Correct, I did not send I-134 previous 3 times, because I was a F1 student at that time.
      4. 1st time - with my elder brother, VO said he can grant visa to mom/dad but not to my brother. At that time my mom/dad refused saying they want it only if my brother is given.
2nd and 3rd time - no documents were asked, only asked them for purpose of visit, mom/dad said for my Graduation!!

Anyway, I am not sure why they denied them so many times when they were ready to give it to them
the first time. Especially when they have strong work and family ties to India.
And your salary is fine in US.

Maybe the reason was your parents refused it the first time.

With a visitor visa denial , there is nothing you can do except to keep trying.
